I’m not particularly good in writing short pieces. I usually need someone to poke me in the back to let me know when I’ve written enough. My muse will do this (if I’m paying attention), but I have a tendency to go on and on in an attempt to explain more than necessary.

As a recovering perfectionist however, I’m determined to make this bio very short. And that is possible because there are already two bios online (aimed at different audiences) that you can read if you want more info — beyond knowing that I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, wife and mother of grown children, author, web designer, and love to learn.

One of these bios is at Support4Change where I am founder and editor-in-chief. The other is at Childhood Affirmations, where I am also founder and the program director.

These two pieces should form a good basis on which you can learn enough about me to satisfy normal curiosity. Also, they will give you a feeling for how my experience and credentials offer, I believe, legitimacy to what I write.

In addition to those bios, there is this blog itself. After all, the purpose of a blog is to express the views of the writers. So if you want to know more about me than you’ll find in those two bios, just read some of my blog entries. See Index of Blog Entries for that.

If you have questions or comments you would like to send me, please use the contact form on Support4Change. You can also reach me at Support4Change, 2522 Boulder Road, Altadena, CA 91001, 626-797-8914.

I hope that what I write will, in some small way, make a difference in this sorry world.
