This is the last entry I have time to put on the blog before the limousine comes and takes us to the airport in Los Angeles. As those of you who’ve been reading the blog since Dec. 8 know, I’ve done entries in advance and have given you a bit of my itinerary.

For this date, we’re going to be driven to the airport and fly to Auckland, arriving tomorrow morning at 6:30. Then we’ll rent a car and start down through the northern island, fly from Wellington to Christchurch, rent another car and spend more than a week in the beautiful southern island.

If there’s anything of particular interest to share, I’ll tell you about it when I return.

In the meantime, there are two articles I recommend you read. Celebrating the Year That’s Ending and Welcoming the Year That’s Beginning.

Limousine has arrived. We’re off.
