Paying Attention to What You See

Today I’m uploading two blog entries because of the problem discussed in Internet Connection Catch 22 below. I had expected to give you a new Q-and-A Club question every week at the beginning of the week. As you will see, this week it wasn’t possible until today. Actually, not until yesterday, but I was too tired last night to pull it all together.

So here is the question for the week of February 25 to March 3. I’ll try to get the one for next week on by tomorrow or Monday. For the background of the question, please see the introduction to it on Support4Change, where you’ll see the question I have about this picture. You can see an enlarged picture if that will help.

PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU SEE

mark-red-1.gifWhen you look around you, besides needing to navigate the world without running into something, are you interested in what you’re seeing? When there is something you haven’t seen before, do you try to understand what it is, or do you let it become just one more thing that is a puzzle not pursued?

Action Question: Are you willing to pay attention this week to at least one thing that you haven’t known how it is made, why it looks the way the does, or its possible purpose—and then actually pursue the answer?

If you ever feel you’re the only one who has frustrating computer problems, be sure to read the previous entry, immediately below. And please let me know if you think I owe Earthlink an apology.
